  This church has become a home for me the past year. Gospel centered teaching and great congregation and leadership, in the Reformed tradition but in a relevant and missional outlook. If you're looking for a great church in the Columbia area, look no further

  Has a nice basketball court and a nice Christian basketball program called ELEV8.

  MINUS 2 stars for Worship --------- MUSIC!!!!!
  The preaching at CPC is great. It's fellowship is warm, It's teaching is solid but the worship music is poor at best.
  Honestly, I had no idea what a large part music played in worship or how important it was until the church got a new music director over the summer and it's been all down hill since. He may be a talented performer and he is definitely a gifted musician but unfortunately leading worship is not one of his strengths. It's gotten to the point where I dread having to sit through worship each Sunday AM. It's so sad because the church has some truly amazing musicians and worship leaders in the congregation. They in fact used to lead worship until he (who must not be named) was hired. I wish leadership would rethink their decision and go back to the way things were, because in my opinion this has been a major step in the wrong direction.

  The church is beautiful. People are friendly. The church offers many services and activities.
